Our headquarters are situated in the South West of England with training consultancy and service delivery carried out both nationally and internationally.
Located just off the A30 approximately 25 minutes from Exeter is our office and main training facility. The training centre is located at Meldon Quarry, on the edge of scenic Dartmoor National Park.
As well as the 16 metre high workshop, we also have the use of Meldon Viaduct bridge – a wrought and cast iron structure, which at its highest point is 46 metres. In addition, we have sites suitable for slope work training with one slope providing a vehicle-simulated road traffic accident and casualty extraction scenarios.
The site has 17 meter lighting towers, available for working at height and tower climbing training.
Our 16 metre high workshop, which is used for our IRATA training also contains a purpose-built confined space training unit, which has various setups to enable both vertical and horizontal access and to offer low through to high risk confined space training.
The site makes for a perfect location for specialist rescue, medical training and casualty management.
If you require specialist industrial safety training, then we are able to deploy our instructors to provide on-site training as needed around the UK, Ireland and beyond. Contact us to discuss your training requirements and we will be able to advise you on the suitability of your site.
At RIG Systems, we are constantly improving our service and facilities to provide the most challenging of training scenarios to replicate real live industrial and emergency services environments, which enhances the professional developments of our students.
