Wire Lanyard

Made from 7 mm diameter stainless steel wire, these lanyards have enhanced resistance to abrasion, mechanical damage, chemicals, heat, UV degradation and corrosion compared to similar textile items.

They are ideal as permanently fitted restraint lanyards, cut resistant extensions for rope access users and heavy duty lanyards for use in welding, painting and blasting operations.

Our Wire Lanyards meet EN 354 : 2002 and are available in a range of lengths.

-These wire lanyards are NOT designed to absorb energy
-On their own they must not be used to arrest a fall
-Wire lanyards conforming to EN354 must be used in conjunction with an energy absorber (e.g. EN355) for fall arrest
-It is mandatory that the combined length of lanyard, absorber and connectors does NOT exceed 2 metres when used for fall arrest
