RIG Rescue services includes: site surveys, implementation of emergency rescue plans, risk assessments, permit to works, on-site PPE management, standby rescue cover, incident management, casualty extraction and mobilisation. Our teams are self-sufficient, and we provide all the required specialised equipment and vehicles to support the task.
RIG Rescue services includes: site surveys, implementation of emergency rescue plans, risk assessments, permit to works, on-site PPE management, standby rescue cover, incident management, casualty extraction and mobilization. Our teams are self-sufficient, and we provide all the required specialized equipment and vehicles to support the task.
Our rescue culture is not only driven from team members who are solely from emergency responder backgrounds; instead, our culture extends to include teams who have practical, industrial experience from sectors such as the oil and gas, utilities, telecoms, power stations, marine and mines and extraction, all with an on-site health, safety and rescue foundation experience. This ensures we can offer our clients rescue teams that include members with practical and management experience of on-the-job health and safety, who have actually undertaken planned and unplanned maintenance works (not just rescue) within hazardous working environments.
Our primary aim is to deliver safe working solutions with effective emergency planning and rescue response to ensure employees can work safely and return home.
Our teams’ composition are made up of rescue responder/technicians with IRATA rope access supervision and technicians; medically trained FPOSI and paramedics; Swift Water and Flood Rescue instructors and technicians; and confined space instructors and technicians with City and Guilds, Confined Space Access and Rescue (CONSAR) or industrially recognized mines and extraction certifications.
All our teams undergo annual refresher training and attend in-house Continuous Professional Development programme. RIG Rescues’ operational support procedures and documentation has been developed with input from experienced chartered health and safety advisors who have managed rescue teams worldwide.
